Question 1

Which checks run each day?

Accepted Answer

Saved sites with promotion checks enabled receive a daily promotion inspection. Saved sites with passive contact-form checks enabled receive a daily inspection of those forms. Only the checks enabled for a site are scheduled.

Question 2

What might a promotion check find?

Accepted Answer

A report may flag promotions that appear expired or whose status could not be verified. Results can be partial, unverified, or unavailable, and a check may not detect every issue.

Question 3

Do contact-form checks send a test message?

Accepted Answer

No. Contact-form checks are passive and do not submit a message. They may flag a form that could not be verified or may not deliver messages, but they do not confirm delivery by sending a test. Results may be partial, unverified, or unavailable.

Question 4

Can BrambleBeacon check for broken links?

Accepted Answer

Broken-link checks require an approved crawl-capable integration. No such integration is currently connected, so broken-link checks are not currently available.

Question 5

Will a routine fix change my site automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Routine fixes never change a site automatically. Each fix requires the owner’s explicit approval and a supported site-editing connection with verified authorization. If that connection is unavailable, no change can be applied.

Question 6

Will every issue be detected, or every approved fix succeed?

Accepted Answer

No. Checks may miss issues or return partial, unverified, or unavailable results. Approval allows a proposed fix to be attempted; it does not guarantee that the change will succeed.
